Stepping Up & Rockin’

A Wonderful Evening

The Stepping Up and Rockin’ to End Child Abuse fundraiser event at the Madison Club on April 27th was a HUGE success. Thanks to the caring, generous and supportive people in our community, the Rainbow Project was able to raise over $8,000 in donations that will go directly towards providing Rainbow services in Madison-area schools to help close the achievement gap! The intimate, yet lively event focused on moving forward and working together to achieve our goals of preventing child abuse and providing resources to our community.  We are truly energized by the dedication and work of our peers in this field and see a bright future because of it.Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

We would like to extend a massive thank you to our guest “celebrity” dance couples, District Attorney Ismael Ozanne & his wife, Stacey Ozanne, and MMSD Superintendent,  Jen Cheatham & her husband, Reggie Cheatham. We would also like to thank our two sponsors, BMO Harris Bank and TASC for being true partners and advocates for the event- we could not have done it without you.  Additionally, a huge thank you to our silent auction donors Madison Originals, Marshall Financial, Sharyl Kato, Kevin Henkes, Custer Financial, Food Fight Restaurant Group, the Madison Club and the Hy-Vee Floral Department. Your wonderful donated items helped us raise even more money throughout the evening. And finally, we would like to thank the Madison Club Charitable Foundation and all their fantastic staff for being wonderful hosts and helpful partners throughout the process.
