Bounce Back
An intervention program for elementary school children exposed to stressful and traumatic events. The goal of the program is to help teach students ways of coping with and recovering from traumatic experiences. It is a 10 week program held in elementary schools and facilitated by a Rainbow Project therapist & a school staff member.

CBITS (Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools)
This program is a school-based group and individual intervention for middle schoolers. It is designed to reduce symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder and depression while also improving functioning, grades, attendance and coping skills. One therapist & one school staff member facilitate a 10 week group in the school. CBITS is in partnership with Journey Mental Health Center.

FACE Kids
A multi-agency collaboration that provides groups for children and youth in Dane County. Groups are held in the community, schools, child care settings, and The Rainbow Project. Groups focus on building positive social skills, self-esteem, anger & stress management, problem solving skills and effective development.

Yo Soy, Yo Soy Unica!
The Yo Soy, Yo Soy Unica program is a series of 8-10 sessions for Latina girls and their caregivers (mothers, grandmothers or guardians) that focuses on cultural identity & pride, self-esteem, healthy relationships, handling feelings, stress management, problem-solving, communication, and reinforcing strengths.

Coaches' Corner
A ten-week long group for biological parents, foster parents, and adoptive parents based on Dr. John Gottman’s emotion coaching curriculum. Parents can share their experiences and learn how to understand and coach their child’s emotions. Each week, group participants learn skills to help make sense of their child’s feelings, and ultimately, behaviors. Dinner & professional child care is provided. Registration is required.

De Mujer a Mujer
This group is for Spanish-speaking mothers who struggle with chronic stress, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, parenting, and cultural adjustment issues. Discussion themes include stress and symptoms, coping skills, health vs unhealthy behaviors in relationships, parenting, life transitions, health, and family. Guest speakers from other community services are also sometimes featured. Professional child care is provided. Group meets every Friday from 4:00-6:00pm. Registration required.

Grandparents & Other Relatives as Parents
This support group is for grandparents and other relatives who have become primary caregivers to family member’s children. Many people who are raising relative’s children are turning to each other for the comfort and support they need. This group recognizes the many roles that relatives plan as primary caregivers and aims to foster a nurturing and educational place for those individuals to come and discuss issues they face. Topics covered include guardianship, custody & adoption, rights of grandparents and other relatives, grief & loss, relieving stress, child development, financial resources. Group meets the second Saturday of every month from 10:00am-12:00pm. Professional child care and food is provided.
