The Rainbow Project utilizes volunteers in a variety of ways to help fulfill its mission. The work we do would not be possible without the dedication and support we receive from our wonderful volunteers on a daily basis.

Clerical

From time to time, The Rainbow Project is in need of clerical volunteers to do basic office tasks such as copying, filing, faxing and organizing.

Fundraising & Event Support

The Rainbow Project is in need of volunteers for its annual benefit, Rhumba 4 Rainbow. Volunteer opportunities include prep and planning for the event, soliciting businesses for donations, and night-of help at the event.

 

Specialized Child Care

The Rainbow Project uses experienced volunteers to provide professional childcare during its adult support groups listed below.

Grandparents & Other Relatives as Parents

10:00 am – 12:00 pm
2nd Saturday of each month

Coach’s Corner: Emotion Coaching

10-week program, 2-3 times per year
Thursdays from 5:30-7:30pm
Next cycle: January 12th- March 16th, 2023

De Mujer a Mujer

4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Every Friday

Other Opportunities

Serving on The Rainbow Project Board of Directors participation, professional consultation and technical assistance for a variety of topics, and facility maintenance & repairs.
