The Rainbow Project was awarded The Steve Jones Memorial Award

Sharyl Kato, Executive Director at The Rainbow Project, receives the Steve Jones Memorial Award for providing exemplary Youth Programs in Dane County. Each year The Cap Times Kids Fund sponsors the Joyce Erdman and the Steve Jones Memorial Awards to recognize the outstanding individuals and organizations serving youth in Dane County.

The Rainbow Project is honored to receive this recognition and feels more committed than ever to provide services and programs for children and their families who have experienced trauma, domestic violence, poverty, physical and mental abuse, and racial inequity; and help them heal and thrive in the communities of Dane County. We also want to congratulate our fellow recipients and thank them for their amazing work and collaboration.

The Kids Fund focuses on helping meet the needs of all youth in the Dane County area. All current-year grantees are invited to the awards presentation to share information about their projects and organizations.  The reception is the largest networking function for non-profits working with youth in Dane County.
